Movement

Moving your body in a way that is different to how you do every day at work.  It’s about building strength, increasing flexibility and mobility to reduce the potential for injury.

Mindfulness

Your breath is like the remote control to your mind.  You have access to your state of mind and your nervous system at any time just by using your breath.  By controlling your breath, you control your state of mind bringing more awareness to what is happening within and around you.

Nutrition

What you eat affects how you feel and think.  It impacts your mood and energy levels.  It even impacts how you think.  Long story short, food plays a huge role in how you show up every day.  We are here to provide education, coaching and support to help you make the right food choices ensuring you are fueling your body with the best foods to be performing at your best.

Why Tradies?

The construction industry is not only a male dominated world, it’s stressful with long working hours and constant pressure to provide quality outcomes to often tight programs.

It took the loss of her brother, a carpenter, to suicide for founder, Pip Seldon to recognise the need for change in the construction industry.

​Taking a proactive approach to suicide prevention, our mission is to support construction industry workers in living healthier, happier lives with movement, mindfulness and real whole food.

Our philosophy is all about finding balance between eating real whole food, movement and exercise, mindfulness, getting plenty of sleep, some time in the sun and making time for active play – disconnecting from technology and unwinding with unstructured activity.

​Unfortunately most people don’t realise how much nutrition and these lifestyle behaviours affect how you perform every day.

If you aren’t getting enough sleep then it doesn’t matter how good your nutrition and exercise program is, you are sabotaging your health goals by not taking enough time to rest.

 

After almost a decade working alongside Tradies in the commercial construction industry, we know first-hand the stress and pressure that comes with the job and that’s why our team is committed to giving Tradies and construction workers the tools they need to better cope with the pressure and stress of the industry ensuring they are living their absolute best life now!
